1 TIMOTHY 4:12

DON'T LET ANYONE THINK LESS OF YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE YOUNG. BE AN EXAMPLE TO ALL BELIEVERS IN WHAT YOU SAY, IN THE WAY YOU LIVE, IN YOUR LOVE, YOUR FAITH, AND YOUR PURITY.

We have picked 1 Timothy 4:12 as our vision for this year because we want our young people to grow into confident women and men of Christ. This will equip them to be great ambassadors of Jesus to the world around them. Including allowing Jesus to shape the words they say, the actions they show to others, how they love those they may not like, showing faith when times are tough and striving for a mind that is pure directed towards heavenly things.

Our name, 'CORE' means 'the part of something that is central to its existence or character.' The core we have is Jesus who is fundamental to our existence and growth as individuals and as a youth.

Our talk theme for this next few months is on Identity. Who we think we are and who God thinks we are.

Katie Bruce is the youth worker who heads up this ministry and coordinates fellowship and outreach events as well as being available for pastoral care and counselling.
