Supporting one another ... through Pastoral Care

Our high calling: 'to love one another as I have loved you'

Here in ChristChurch our aim is to create a loving, caring family environment where we support and nurture one another.

We encourage our Home Groups to be the primary providers for care and nurture.

However, we know there will be times when more help is required e.g. when there is a bereavement, a birth, a job crisis. We try to respond and minister very directly at times like this with practical help, moral support and prayer ministry as appropriate.

We also do home visits to those folk who aren't able to come to church.

Practical help can come in the form of fresh meals delivered to you. The co-ordinator for this is Joanna Griffiths. Joanna has a list of folk who very kindly supply meals as and when required.

On Sunday mornings we provide encouragement cards and stamps for your benefit and we will even post them for you! Please avail of these to write a note to someone you have missed.

Please do not hesitate to contact any one of us if you have a concern for yourself or for someone else.
