Our autumn series explores the experience of, and wrtitings to, the Church in Ephesus. Each sermon is based on a core text. Unlike other letters, Ephesians was not written to address a specific problem.
It was written for general circulation among the churches - aimed at:-
1) affirming spiritual identity,
2) encouraging spiritual growth and formation within a difficult cultural setting.
It opens for us those essential elements of our individual and shared spirituality. You might say it is the spiritual history of our future - as a missional people of grace making plain the mysteries of Christ through our dependent and interdependent lives and living.
